Jacqui and Chris – a wedding reportage in Grasse at Bastide St. Mathieu

Bastide St Mathieu is a magnificent 18th century manor house, private villa and boutique hotel located in Grasse at the heart of the Cote d’Azur. That’s where Jacqui and Chris decided to get married and they both came all the way from Singapore to celebrate it. The wedding started with a touching ceremony speech given by Anne Naylor, who you can remember from my other post. Then the guests were welcomed with an aperitif at the swimming pool proceeded with a dinner in an open space with the view at the surrounding olive garden. What a bliss!

Have you noticed a tiny drawing on the table name card? That’s Jacqui & Chris 🙂

During summer months Bastide’s gardens are blooming with Lavender, a symbol of Provence.

A very good makeupist – Sophie Kilian, focused on her work.

The furnishing of the rooms is simply amazing.

Impatient bride waiting for the signal to start walking to the garden aisle – I loved capturing it.

Just married, time to party!

Isn’t she lovely? They both are! I also like the art design of this chair, reminds me of art nouveau.
