Jola and Ole – wedding in Saint Paul de Vence

Jola and Ole – wedding in Saint Paul de Vence

I’m back after a long break in updating. The season’s quite busy this year but I would still like to share with you some images from my recent wedding in the South of France.

A beautiful bride to be has contacted me a couple of months prior to her wedding. We took a coffee in Nice to discuss all the details and we liked each other straight away. Although Jola’s Polish, she’s permanently living in Norway. Since then she has called me a couple of times to discuss some details, always being so excited about what’s going to come.

The wedding day went perfect. The couple and their guests have stayed in Saint Paul de Vence – a charming hilltop fortified village in Provence. The preparations took place at the wonderful Mas d’Artigny hotel.

Surrounded by a forest of green pines, this authentic Provençal mas takes its inspiration from the same source as Provence and offers high-end amenities: private pools, Spa, gardens, and gastronomic restaurant; the most exacting details have been thought through with respect to your well being and your events.

A humble wedding ceremony was held at the private villa and the pastor Carl Bjarkram has given a beautiful speech.
It was a very touching day, full of emotions and I must say I have shed a tear or two as well.
Jola and Ole, thank you for the distinct honor of commemorating your love.
