Ok, this time I’ll post quite a lot of pictures because I like them all and it was hard to make a choice. It was my second time in Avignon this year and I have really enjoyed working there.
I was invited by Kimmi and Hamish, both living in Australia, to document a little ceremony among their best friends who couldn’t be there for their wedding, having place earlier this year.
This day was amazing for two reasons: frirstly because it was happening during Festival d’Avignon which makes the whole town colorful and full of attractions, secondly – because the theme of the party was the Jazz Age.
The ceremony took place in a cute B&B called Autour Du Petit Paradis. The patio was decorated by the bridesmaids who hung beautiful paper flowers. Everyone was taking polaroid pictures. We then walked (jumped?) trough the streets of Avignon, photographing all the way long until we reached the restaurant of Hotel d’Europe– 5 stars hotel where the dinner was served.
You don’t take a photograph. You ask, quietly, to borrow it.
