All weddings are beautiful and different, yet there are some that I remember more than the others. The wedding of Vivi and Anders will definitely be one of those unforgettable ones. Vivi has booked me as her wedding photographer quite early. The couple came from Norway to show me the villa of Richard Nilsson, called Résidence Supérieur or Villa Oxygene. It’s a very modern villa with a splendid view so I was very excited to be able to shoot there plus Richard is a very kind and welcoming person. I’ve learnt that Vivi is a great graphic designer and, as I’ve got the same background, I knew that her wedding will be very creative, it couldn’t be otherwise!
She has designed everything by herself:
The inspiration behind the colors was the mediterranean sea: Côte d’Azur, the golden beaches in Cannes, the white camellia flower and sweet chocolat. The flower Camellia was the illustration troughout the design of the invitations, programs and all the wedding details, together with the word OUI! She has also designed the invitations, which were packed in a cake box with macarons inside. The rings were made of rosé gold and engraved with the word OUI. The dot over the letter i, was a small diamond. Inside of the ring there was the song’s title, engraved: WITHOUT YOU I AM NOTHING (Placebo). The gold and the diamonds were taken from an old jewelry who is beloved and has it’s history.
Dear Beautiful! Oh my God!!! I am totaly crying here! We have still not landed after our big day, everything went so fast, so many memories to compress, so many moments …..we wish to do it all once more, which we can’t of course!
We are so happy for all the beautiful pictures! I love the montage, it was so moving, so nice … I can’t even write about it before feeling tears coming! This day will never come back, these moments, this beauty of the love that was surrounding us. It was the best day we ever had and thank You for beeing there to capture this trough your eyes.
Petit train was driving the guests from Palais de Festivals in Cannes to the villa.
Each participant’s received a glass of wine (or more!), and a fresh baguette, a typically French accent.
The major surprise organised by Anders were flash mobs at each restaurant we were passing.
Of course Vivi couldn’t see it as she was getting ready at the villa.
There was even a singer at Croisette !
Vivi has put her trust with the hair and make-up into Heidi‘s hands, good choice! Check out the new Heidi’s youtube channel!
The camelia was Coco Chanel‘s favourite flower. The ones above can be found on the gift bags at Chanel’s store.
