I’d like to share with you some pictures from a Swedish/Danish wedding in the South of France.
Emelie and Christian both live in the UK but they couldn’t resist saying yes to each other in a hidden gem in Mougins.
They chose September as their wedding’s month. Manoir de L’Etang is a beautiful 19 century manor house.
That’s where the bride was getting ready, with the help of an excellent make-up & hair artist – Olga.
The religious ceremony took place at the venue’s garden area.
There was a live music band playing during the ceremony as well as the cocktail.
The numerous guests were entertained by a multitude of speeches and Swedish traditions.
One of them was particularly funny, all of the male guests were kissing the bride.
The same happened to the groom, except that this time it was a all of the female wedding guests (luckily for him!).
At Swedish wedding receptions, guests may get an opportunity to kiss the bride or groom.
If the bride goes to the restroom, all of the women at the reception line up to kiss the groom.
If the groom exits the room and is out of sight, the men line up to kiss the bride.
Everybody had a great time and appreciated the moments spent with the lovely couple.
An example of a Scandinavian beauty.
The groom patiently awaiting his wife to be.
A beautiful setting and floral decorations.
Luckily the bride and the groom are very organised people so getting everybody in the group shot didn’t last too long!
I highly recommend this talented duo: Larry Lynch and Van Gaut.
